How loud is the "clack"?

And how many times do you hear it? E.g. Just once on depressing/releasing the clutch?

The only vaguely "clack" type sound I get is a click that is the switch activating that turns the start button on. But it's not very loud and doesn't repeat unless I repeatedly operate the pedal.

If it's not that, you will be better taking it to a dealer as it does not sound normal as mentioned above.

always listen and always a hard clack in the circumstances, engine idle, without any gear engaged, and depressing / releasing the clutch too fast

"clack" is strong and listens to quickly release the clutch with the engine at idle, I talked to the official service in Spain and told me it was normal, I asked 1, owners of V8,(in Spain), and do try and tell me to be normal for them also do the same thing "CLACK" when they step and quickly release the clutch with the engine at idle.

... I will continue investigating,

if you want to test your V8, steps and quickly release the clutch is not a soft click, is a hard sound "CLACK" Clack "... every time you release the clutch too fast

Thanks and apologies for the inconvenience

in my case happens in the front engine, not in the rear

always listen and always a hard clack in the circumstances, engine idle, without any gear engaged, and depressing / releasing the clutch too fast,

Out of interest, why would you do this?

It may well be that it happens on some cars. I've never done that action with my car (any car I've had come to think of it) and can't think why I'd want to...?

Isn't it quite normal?

You come to stop in 1st gear with the clutch depressed. If it is going to be a long light, you place the gearshift in neutral and release the clutch to avoid needless wear on the throw-out bearing. Or are you talking about something else?

Not right. You need to take it to a dealer or independent specialist to get them to look at it.

Repeatedly doing it in neutral, quickly pressing and releasing the pedal isn't normal IMO. Unless you have a nervous twitch that affects your overdeveloped left leg!

The circumstance you outline is normal. But how often are you going to do that in a lifetime? I reckon I could do a few hundred miles and only do it as often as the youtube clip above smile

what I want is to know if this is normal under the circumstances that expose.
maneuvering, always provides a good use of the clutch, we know that our clutch is as we would say, good sh.t.
thanks to all

Is your clutch engaging and disengaging properly?

Have you checked your fluid levels and the clutch cylinders for leaks?

You've been told by 3 people that it's not normal.

You can either

a) keep asking until someone tells you it is normal. Then take their advice and wait for your car to break properly or

b) take it to a dealer and ask them to fix it.

Your choice.
