Maybe I'm out of my depth posting in here, but anyway...
I've noticed that despite the wealth of information available on damage classification and insurance write offs that there are still a massive amount of car enthusiasts who don't seem clued up on it at all. I'm always seeing things like 'Cat D is only a wing', which leads me to believe that people genuinely don't have a clue when it comes to this.
I was thinking a sticky containing the facts around insurance write offs would stop the endless threads telling us 'Cat D isn't serious, but don't touch a Cat C', and vice versa.
This would also reduce the risk of, for example, a site member buying a Cat D car under the impression it's only had minor damage, only to find out it's been heavily damaged in a bad accident.
Thoughts?

Yes. But if I didn't, surely a sticky on a large motoring forum such as this one would be very helpful?
