Really pleased with the effect and the finish on the large surfaces. Still dealing with problems due to vinyl not particularly liking fibreglass and lifting on the edges and joins. As it's the first time one has been done its a fairly steep learning curve for the wrapping company and the vinyl manufacturer. In their defence they are being very helpful so given time it'll get sorted. The next one should be easier, although I think the price will be higher than I paid now they know what's involved! lol

Hi Mike..Is the viynl lifting due to there being no paint finish on the car as i remember you rubbing it all down?..Cheers...Ziga
Hi MarkThe shine was off the paint but except where there was primer the paint surface was intact. A lot of the problem is, whereas metal panels reflect the heat back at the vinyl the fibreglass absorbs it. The vinyl has to be heated much more to get it to work properly which has an adverse affect on how well it sticks especially where it is stretched and wrapped around door edges and the like. Joins and deep corners that were fine for two weeks after being wrapped are now lifting. I've seen jobs done on metal cars when I've been at the workshop and the difference is clearly visible. The vinyl goes round much tighter curves without even a wrinkle.
We'll get there in the end. Spent too much money to pull it off now! Can't say I haven't thought about it though!

Thanks for the info mike, Its a shame its a bit of an issue as it looks fantastic and to have that effect in paint would cost four times what you paid and then there's the worry of it getting scratched or chipped!..They will probably develope a spray viynl in the future..Or a paint effects that changes colour with the flick of a switch..Mind you the only trouble with that would be if the battery goes flat the car becomes transparent..stealth is good but only when your in it...

Hi Peeps
I came across this a while back http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNY9Dx617N8 if you google them they have many more clours to choose from and different products, you can also watch some of there other videos...
Blimey..Talk of the devil...That's the way to do it...Looks like the colours are only available in a matt finish but it must be easier than wrapping it..And it peels off real easy on the parts you dont want it on..I bet the idea came from latex body spray that has been used on fit girls..Dont worry mods im not going to post any pics up although the temptation is there..
