Think i might need to fit some sort of temporary baffle / db killer / muffler for bedford/donny. Does anyone have any info for what to look for? Everything I can find seems to be designed for bikes

Thanks

We use decibel devils which work well. A really useful addition to the trackday tool kit! They go into the tail pipe and jubilee clip in place. They are like a perforated tube. They drop exhaust noise from 1 to 3 db with minimal increase in back pressure.

nice one, good that it doesn't need any holes drilled

the best alternative i've found is this:

if anyone has any experience of either it'd be good to know

This is them!

Fit in minutes with a 13mm socket. We lend them out for free so if you come to one of our days you can try one and do a back to back test.

Mike, would that work on my evo? Came in at 106db so need to drop a fair amount!

This is the exhaust I have: http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=407...

6 DB drop may be expecting too much. What size tailpipe is it?

I've got one of these and find it reduces noise levels by about 3-4db at around 5000 rpm.

I got two of these on my supercharged mustang, dropped from 105 to 100, just enough to clear bedford. I think they have other sizes as well.
