My dad is getting rid of his navara aventura and is looking for a replacement.

He prefers a manual due the loads he pulls around on and off road. We looked at a hiluxs but they don't have a lot of kit... So we started looking at Chelsea tractors x5's Touareg disco's xc90 etc.

So far the x5 has come up trumps on all the figures when based on a 3.0 diesel but they are all autos and I'm not sure off their off road capability
... Any other suggestions

Btw it has to be newer than 2009 and still under 23k

Go for an X6. I have one and love it, it doesn't go off road all that often but is ok when it does. Looks are subjective, but I love it.

Sounds ideal when the OP wants good off-road ability and a manual 'box. . . . . biggrin

All the mags are raving about the new Ford Ranger. certainly 4 x 4 mag were very impressed last month. That is if he wants another pick up to follow the Navara.
The Jeep is Auto only certainly the previous GC have been. Latest has a MultiJet 3L V6 diesel which is reckoned to be pretty good.
