My Vanquish is currently in the garage under a classic additions cover. It's excellent, very soft against the paintwork, no risk of scratching. I've got the Pistonhead squad to pebbledash the front
when the covers off!

Good man. Can't wait to see pics of your new P&J. Sadly I don't even have a garage so mine suffers the lot. I am of course assuming you are a male !!!! biggrin

Do AML make one for the Vanquish? I got one for my DB9 for 150 quid from HWM Aston. It's brilliant quality, really top notch.

AML do one for the Vanquish. From the website I bought my cover from it appears that they make them for AML but charge a little less if you buy from them direct.

My cover was about 270quid. It would appear that like most things for the Vanquish you have to look around a bit to get the same item at a sensible price. AML wanted 170+quid for the umbrella in the boot. I got one on e-bay for 61.

Ouchie - I think the DB9 cover was advertised at 300 notes but they kept popping up on eBay and I'd bid 150 for them and lose. Eventually everyone else got theirs for 200+ and I was the only bidder at 150. And it was from HWM! Guess it might have been last of the line or something?

Might be worth a call to see of they have a 'second' or something..? Less demand for Vanquish I suppose as a rarer car...

It might be worth considering an outdoor cover, as the soft indoor covers might not be bat dropping resistant and would certainly be permanently marked after time. Or at least put thickish polythene sheeting over the top of an indoor cover.

I'd be wary of putting the polythene sheet over the top. I’ve seen everything under such a sheet go very mouldy.
You need something waterproof but breathable if that’s the case.

Sheet the flat areas i.e. leaving it open at the sides, over short-ish time periods. Surely mould grows in damp environments; if bats are getting in, then the storage would possibly be well ventilated. The chances of caustic bat droppings causing damage to the cover and car are much greater, I would say.

California Car Covers here in the US list one for the Vantage for $230.00 - although the list international shipping as $100!!

This company has custom patterned covers in many different material options for many cars. I do not have one for my DB9, but I have seen their covers on many different cars here in the US and the quality of material and fit seems impeccable. I do have one of their covers for my GT500 mustang and it is of a very high quality breathable material called "Noah". I chose this material option as it also has a minimal "quilted" B-surface that is very good at protecting the car from damages by any accidental knocks. I would give them a call to discuss the Vantage cover and shipping specifics, but this is the car cover company and material choice that we use for some VERY Very expensive and delicate cars.
