Hi guys

Re carpeting my chim soon and thought it was a good time to try and reduce some of the heatsoak and road/transmission noise, I have seen a few people do this in the past but no opinions on what seems the best value for money? what have you guys used and have you been happy with it?

Cheers

My chimaera had been lined with Dynamat when I bought it (judging by some of the holes and bits of cable left in it it had a pretty serious sound system fitted at some time)

how do you find the road noise and heat soak? noticed the other day how much heat comes in from the gearbox and engine, fine when tops down, st when its raining, plus I plan to take it down italy and other long jaunts so if it helps at all i dont mind the expense. I know of Dynamat, which seems to be the main one and found many other alternatives for a lot less when seem to perform just as well, but they are all in the US (the well reviewed ones)

Fitted when I bought it and still in when I sold it so nothing to compare to, never noticed any particular issue with heat from transmission tunnel area but there again very rarely had roof on ( I know, unusual for a Chimaera wink )
