Hi, first time poster here with a quick question.
Had my Aventador delivered without front number plate today by Lambo Brum and was advised most customers did not bother with this and had had no probs. I am thinking of going down the sticker route as I feel a bit uncomfortable without it. Anybody have any advice/experience of this. Cheers

The 'it just fell off officer' is still very much in use.

I went without a front plate for a few months on my old Gallardo, I was forever being stopped, eventually I was fined £60. I got fed up with the hassle so put it back on.

Leave it off and try your luck, I would.
As has been said stick some double sided tape on it and maybe dirty it up a bit to make it look reasonably plausible that it had fallen off on that journey.
Obviously not legal but realistically it's going to need someone to see you and be in a position to turn around to pull you over, or they might even cut you some slack because anyone with any eye for aesthetics would be able to tell that there's nowhere you can fix a plate on the front of that without it diminishing it.
Incidentally it's the same offence - £60 fine, no points - whether you display a plate that's not conforming (e.g. misspaced, wrong size, etc) as not displaying it at all. Food for thought...

You can get the normal number plate bent to the correct shape to fit as a solution. kelly

That wont make the slightest bit of difference, most of the coppers that pulled me had seen me on numerous occasions with no plate, so knew it had not just fallen off. As for a copper thinking the car looks better without a plate and letting you off, I doubt it. It's like the police catching a burglar, and because it's a sexy female burglar with big tits, letting her off.

Could just get the plate mount fitted from Lamborghini. Granted you have to drill the front bumper but looks a lot better than a bent plate on the front.

Would leaving it in the window on the dashboard in front of the steering wheel - look like you are a car dealer? Thats what i would do.

I think a sticker plate like this looks best (a quick photoshop because I couldn't find a picture of one). P.S. stunning colour!

Sticker plate in the eyes of the law just as bad as no plate at all. Infact I think you can get points for mis-sized sticker plate, whereas no plate at all is just a fine, no points.
