I am bored of my F430 Spider after owning it since the beginning of May, it's a lovely car no doubt about that, but I have the urge for another Gallardo. Rather than sell to a dealer and lose loads, then buy from a dealer and lose even more, I was thinking about swapping with someone who is after a very highly specced F430 of similar value.

Can't see the problem myself you just need to find somebody with a lambo that wants your Ferrari I guess, how hard can that be!
I swapped an evo VIII for an escort cosworth once, worked out ok for me.

Always thought this would be a good idea but getting two people with a realistic opinion of the value of their present steed is the falling down point. Needs a impartial middle man who will value for both parties. Business oppurtunity?.

My 430 sold a couple of days ago (privately).
Going back to Lambo (LP570) despite the 430 being fantastic!

I swapped my then company car, a E46 M3 for a 530 D. Got dealer and employer to agree both worth the same. Doesn't sound like a great swap on paper but my wife got pregnant just after I got the M3 and it wasn't very practical with a new born. 530 D was great, especially on trips back to the UK.

Pete,
You sure it not the weather and quiet exhaust rather than the car?

I tried it once when I was after an Escort Cosworth. Found someone that wanted to do the deal but he brought his O/H with him and she put her foot down because she didn't like red cars.
Are you heading to Wilton House on Sunday? A long shot but you never know you might meet someone there that would be interested.

Failing that ill buy them from Carbonio. Good luck with the sale/swap. I'm not sure who manufactured the paddles, I was led to believe they were a Ferrari option at the time of purchase. I'm not too keen to sell them, they are easier to use than the standard ones, and I may end up not selling the car so would like to keep them in case.

I understand about them being easier/better, the standard ones have no bottom part to the paddle which I dont like. Im Not sure if Ferrari made them but a company in the states called Carbonio make a set which are meant to be very good at $720.
