Trying to remember a location.

About 9 years ago i delivered a van load of suspended ceiling panels & fittings to a place in Cumbria,IIRC it was some sort of stately home/manor type of place in its own grounds,but what was different was that there was some sort of car racing team based there with workshops,transporter vehicles,the whole works.
I think it may have been a rally or touring car team or similar.
I have been racking my brains trying to remember where it was,can anyone tell me?
