Does anyone know of any land available for sale around the South Norfolk area? Looking around about a 5 miles diameter from Wymondham (maybe further).

As we have had no luck find a house that MrsF likes, now going down the 'self build' route.

Ideally would be a building plot on 3-5 acres (horses) but could be an old bungalow or even a barn to be converted.

If anyone has any knowledge of such a thing I have exhausted the usual estate agent route...

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Kev

You could try looking on some of the buildplot websites or go to a Land Search Agent (no idea how much they charge though)

Spotted this but mabe too far away

This seems to be more a matter of knowing the right people at the moment.

I'm looking to move myself (similar area too) and we've been offered an awful lot of properties that are not officially listed for sale. I don't know of any suitable land for sale myself but can certainly enquire.

Hi Kev!

Will keep my ears peeled as sometimes I get to know before these plots come up!

Brian,

That looks great and the right kind of area too. However, since we are not extending ours, it has sold so looking for a similar location with few neighbours and more land if possible.

Have viewed quite a few houses that looked like they had what we wanted but fell wide of the mark due to too high a price versus work needed or decent house but no land..frown

I am sure there will be a finders fee available for the idea location hehe

The wife of a guy in my office is a property developer/investor, I'll get him to ask her if she knows of anything.

Cliff, no offence but not sure Mrs F would relish being next door to your unit....she says it's bad enough living with me working on the motorbikes at home....

Thanks. As mentioned above, with land it tends to be who you know not what you know that gets results. Appreciate any help.

pmsl, it's not that close, the farm we have the unit on is next to the fields that are for sale. entrance onto the A140 stratton side of where the bypass should end so will be quiet once that's built. I hear there is a lot of interest in the land by the local farmers wanting to expand so prolly make more than it's worth anyway.

No dice Kev, sorry. She has her feelers out though.
