Off with my Dad to enjoy last years birthday present (we've had a busy year with my wedding so this is the 1st chance I've had to go).
He's doing the 'Generations of 911' one and looking forward to getting a taste of the 991.
The '6 GT3 is now on new rear suspension as of last week thanks to JZM so car feels great as we cruise down to Silverstone.
Nothing to see here until later when I post thoughts and pics, just wanted to gloat about how we are spending our Monday.

Hope it goes well.
I'm heading off to one of these in the near future. The course I'm on involves some time in your own car on the skid pan so debating whether to take the Chimaera or the 924 - limited slip diff and rather more challenging handling or perfect balance, skinny tyres and my only chance to get it really sideways without the aid of snowfall?

I went last week, had a nice day, but not enough time behind the wheel though. 991 was good fun on low friction circuit, PDK very hash in sport plus mode.
I did not really understand the kick plate, all it seems to do is demonstrate how good stability control is. I could only save 2 of the 6 attempts (PSM off), just could not get the opposite lock on quick enough.
Ice hill was good fun, more realistic to real life driving....

Well I drove my Cayman down the M40 and round some of the M25
Sounds like a lovely day out I'd quite like to go there, so look forward to the pictures.Edited by atom111 on Monday 6th August 15:38

I'm trying to get dad to up along to this. I'd like him to take the Boxster S on track and find its limits in a safe place
The little track there is hardly the place to be searching out grip limits. Less run-off than the Nürburgring in places!!
Kick plate is a different matter however. Great fun.
