Vantage developed an emissions fault code last night, purchased a Sealey OBD II reader this morning. From packet to lights out, less than a minute. Dead easy to do, seriously took longer to get the thing out of the impenetrable plastic packet.
My first post on this forum, by the way. Such a wealth of information here. Thanks to everyone that takes the time to share their experiences and knowledge - already saved me at least two return trips back to the dealer.

It's an October '06 Vantage in California Sage Green. Just over 9k on the clock and now relieved of the black sideboard that used to be between the grille and the number plate as well as fuse 22. Have spent most of the first 200 miles or so going back and forth through tunnels.
Will post some pics soon........not seen another one in Sage anywhere, which suits just fine.

What colour is the interior..? Dark green leather and carpets. I know......Green leather - but it does work very nicely with the exterior colour. I promise.

BingoBob said: What was the fault code? The display just said "Emission system service required" - (or words to that effect) plugged in the Sealey Unit and just scrolled to "Clear fault codes" and pressed enter: easy stuff.
