Given the warning lights i am getting up, I expect I am going to need a new set of rear discs and pads.. can anyone give me an indication of what I should expect to pay please on a V8 Vantage? I fear that this will be another "pants around my ankles" experience at my local dealer....

thanks

IIRC ~£300 parts with out discs

I've just been through this and got the parts - the pads are Pagid RS4-2-2 which can be found for around £120 and the sensors were about £25 each side.

depends who you get to fit them......if an Aston main dealer does it they will probably try and charge you £200 to fit them......any other garage would charge £40

Sorry for being stupid but that price is for 1 pair ?? ie 1 wheel only ??

So with sensors (if required) you are looking at about £300 unfitted ?? smile

Yes they are - they have the correct spacing for the brake pad sensor etc. and have RS4-2-2 stamped on them.

Good site that !!

Could only find rears for my DB9 at £168 inc vat - they don't seem to do Fronts confused

Is there a special code for the 30% discount ?? smile

Search under V8 Vantage instead and you'll see front pads as well. Discount code is mentioned on the homepage, use "WINNER30" which should then bring the rears down to £117.
