I just picked up my new Lamborghini - well Ducati 1199S Panigale S - with as much Carbon as they would let me stick on! And I'm loving it!

I think this will be a picture below:

That is stunning. What a machine. Sounds good as well i would imagine - as only a Ducati can.

Fantastic smile

By the most unlikely chance, last week on the highway one pulled up next to my friend and I. Could not believe it. Thumbs up were given, though I fear it was his first time on the bike as he seemed to constantly be adjusting and looking down. Has a real low growl in the lower rpms.

Novice question: Is this better than the Ss1000 R or are they incomparable.

Nah should have got one of these if you like carbon. Came with carbon, frame and body, only 30 of them. smile

lick DB7 - scrummy! And with a 1098 engine too....

re: BMW - it's horses for courses - I love V twin's - and Italians! The BMW is an awesome bit of kit - but doesn't make me dribble like the Panigale (or my MV Augusta Serie Oro used too!)

Having read reviews and not actually ridden either, it would seem that the S1000R would be the favourite, especially in terms of an all rounder. For me however, it would be the Panigale without a shadow of a doubt, I mean just look at it. cloud9

I am not a biker, but to me, that doesn't look anywhere near as good as the Ducati.

In fact I wouldn't give that bike a second glance.
