Hi John, I'm office based in Aberdeen until the middle of September, doing the old late Friday flight back and red-eye up on the Monday morning, all subject to the usual last minute changes Still, might tie in nicely with dropping the car off in Lincolnshire on the way back If I make it you'll be more than welcome to have a drive Oh, I don't suppose you have a set of the wheel centres unsold? Cheers mate, Chilli

I'd have to lose a cylinder or two to drop to that I got a shock last week at Bruntingthorpe, left me feeling inadequate Cars were going by me like i was stood still.. GTR`s ,Ultimas,Porsche Rs,Atoms,Mustangs etc. Even cars like Nissan 350Z`s seemed fast ..guy took me around in one i was very surprised. Problem with the Rover v8 its does well low and mid but loses the plot further up .Mine only got to 130mph, the 4l cars over 100bhp less still made the same speed.! Chillman you need a reality check the modern mid range stuff will leave your car standing ..Those GTR`s are rediculous.

I know what you mean.. there is a long bend by us (end of the runway at leeds Bradford airport) and I always try to get top speed with a bit of drift when I go round it.... I was out in my FREELANDER the other day and tried the same (without the drift ).. .and guess what... not at all that much behind the Griff They give the impression of being fast, ..... but?

I thnought that 350Z went very well and so balanced . A guy took me out in his 2 week old 450hp Mustang with a handling pack, bloody quick and just felt very safe . TVR`s are fun, sound awsome pretty fast but when go g in a new NissanGTR its a completly different experience. Im just don`t understand why the Rover V8 just seems to loose it at the top unless it`s the Stealth cam..

I've got not far off 340bhp per tonne, and I reckon my 0-60 isn't far off the Porka (or quicker if the damn wheels wouldn't spin so much). I drove my mate's 350Z the other week and it felt positively slow, like really slow, and it's a good one. You must be doing something wrong Daz Try and drive in a more manly fashion mate

Off the line my is very quick .

But it also weighs somewhere between 1500 and 1600 kg. If your Chim with 340bhp doesn't leave that for dead then you have a problem mate.... ETA: Sounds like your motor might be a bit asthmatic mate. Have you considered an ACT triple? Makes a world of difference to the breathing

Not sure I'll sell it Daz, but if you want to try it on yours while I'm getting the SC installed/getting used to it/trying it out over what will probably be the winter now then you're very welcome Not made all the plans yet, but you could pick it up from Rob or get him to put it on for you, it'd need a remap anyway with the triple..... Just want to be sure I'm a 100% happy with the SC before I flog the ACT stuff...

First dibs mate !would work very well with my setup .
Don`t think it would need a full remap ,just some tweaks .

Righto You can have the injectors as well as the SC will require larger ones than I currently have (more air more fuel etc etc and so it goes on). I've got Ford high flow 'racing' injectors don't know if they're different to what you've got but you'll need them with the triple coz it flows crap loads of air. As I said tho' it's a 'lend' basis coz if I'm not happy with the SC I'll be putting the triple and injectors back on the car.... If you're cool with that then you're very very welcome mate
