Had an advisory for front shocker which has light misting of oil.
So do I need this sorting asap? if not does it get worse with mileage (do about 2000 p.a.) or age or both?
Thanks

If it had been advised that a brake disc was near to the wear limit, would you query replacing that?

That was just an example. The OP has a car that is classed as a sports car, is capable of great speed, could be called a specialist vehicle but is mainly owned by enthusiasts. Yet he comes on here to ask if a leaking shock absorber (which should have been an MOT fail) should be changed. No offence meant to the OP.

OP, simple answer is yes. They should be replaced as a pair. As an assumption, it could have been leaking for up to a year.

Get it sorted. Mine is handling very badly at the moment due to a leaking shock.
