Hi All, I find myself unable to remove dead battery. My understanding is that the insert underneath the plate slips, making it impossible to remove screw and retaining plate, therefore the battery ( the battery being trapped on side by the retaining plate, on the other by the wing. On the other sides, there is the coolant expansion vessel, and the wheel arch.
So far:
First, it did not seem to slip, I applied WD40 as it seemed stuck with rust.
Then, the "slipping" occured.
The battery is slightly loose as the scew was not tightened fully the last time.
I want to avoid having to go underneath the car to try from there. ( would have to get the car out of the narrow garage up a steep driveway, not ideal ...).
Any suggestion?

but the local Banner distributor say they do not have it, all they propose is 225 mil, 3 mil taller which means it will not fit under the wing re new battery as it is very tight, I went around to several places where they sell other makes all 3 mil too tall...Do you know any other manufacturer who make the battery that both fits and delivers enough to start the AJP 4.5?
