Does anyone know where to get the correct door mirror glass for a 400SE. Only I was driving on the motorway today and my drivers side one flew of and smashed to a thousand pieces. On the way back I stopped at Halfrauds and picked a mirror that fits and does the job for now, but it's not the right one. Any ideas from anyone who has had to change a mirror would be very welcome.

I don't think anyone has ever come up with a definitive answer to this Tony, but it's likely to be from a small 1980s car (Peugeot 205?). I drew round one of mine, took it into Halfords for comparison but it was a fair bit smaller than even the smallest they had in stock. They can order a lot more, but there's no way of knowing what size they'll be. Maybe someone needs to wander around a 'classic' car meet with a template biggrin

I C. In that case I might be better off making a template and getting a mirror cut at the glass shop. Thanks.

Hallo,

IIRC the mirrorglasses are from a Rover SD1.
