First bit the car is under opc warranty.
It's an 05 turbo s cab, it has a slight pull to he right, other than that it's great.
While I can appreciate that centre gravity etc have a good reputation on here, my car has an opc warranty therefore I'm wondering if it's best going to Porsche reading OR would anything other than the cost of geo not be covered?
Also centre g is a bit far to go so if it were to be a specialist it would need to be near hants/ Surrey area.
Thanks

Thanks My own experience of having a geo done at an OPC is that they errrrrrm....... don't necessarily always get the best from the very expensive equipment they use. The very well balanced independent you mention however, will make sure your car is everything you want/need it to be in the steering/handling department and is well woth the trip. The long drive home will repay any perceived inconvenience 100-fold.

Thanks - I think GT-One, Northway and RSJ are my "local specialists" not sure which would be best for Geo though?
The bit I'm concerned about is the OPC warranty i.e. is there any benefit to using the OPC or would anything that arises out of a Geo likely not be covered e.g. it would get classed as wear and tear?
Thanks

Dave 1. How likely is it that they will check your wheel geo if you make a warranty claim. 2. How could they prove that the set up in question isn't just a result of lots of pot holes and kerbs.

I fail to see how they can prove that the settings on the suspension were a result of another company adjusting them.
They cannot reject a warranty claim because your geo is massively out from scraping kerbs and driving over potholes, so how would they differentiate without any doubt that you had the geo changed?
Also remember that Porsche dealerships WANT to do the warranty work as they get paid by Porsche GB for it. They don't want to go digging into things that may cause them to lose work.
I was told by Porsche Leicester that they have only ever had Porsche send someone to inspect a car once, and it was a huge claim.

Pretty much all of the suspension falls into the OPC "wear and tear" category, so they are unlikely to cover it anyway. It is unlikely however, that they will do a geo check if you take your car in with a duff engine/gearbox!
