Hi,
(New member), trying to find any iformation on this Dublin-based 4x4 brand, marketed c1978. There is nothing on internet that I can find (including Wiki list of vehicle marques)
I've attached the front page of a brochure that I found (probably picked up at an old Ulster Motorshow)
The vehicles appear to be ARO-based and the the spec sheet has them available with Peugeot XDP 4-90 diesel or ARO L-25 petrol engines
Thanks

That is an ARO 24

ARO were a Romanian state owned manufacturer back in the day.

There was a tie up with a Portugese company that rebodied the ARO 24 chassi and called it a Portaro.

Dacia Concessionaires imported the ARO 10 and badged it as the Dacia Duster up til about 1990 when the wall fell and they went bust.

ARO went bust when Renault bought Dacia, 5 or 6 years ago.

May I ask what your interest in these is?

Curiosity ! I find this 35-year old brochure for the launch of a (local) vehicle brand that so far no one has heard of and appears not to have ANY internet references.

They are still there..... Currently owned by a guy called Pino Harris I believe. He is the Iveco truck importer for southern Ireland and assembles Hino 8x4 trucks and exports to UK amongst other pies his fingers are in. nice people to deal with mostly and obviously looking for an angle with vehicle sales and production etc. having trouble shifting the Hinos as the emission laws are gaining on his huge stock pile of assembled vehicles I think?
