I test drove a 991 Carrera s yesterday.

All considerations about steering, sport vs GT caracter aside... (I found it really good fwiw) I noticed after the drive, with some rain starting to fall, that there was some condensation in both rear lights, inside the cluster. Visible through the "red" plastic.

Any of the owners noticed this? It's from an OPC so could ask to have it modified if necessary.

Also, I find the lettering at the back awful. Does somebody know if the P O R S C H E lettering is lowered if no model designation box is ticked from factory? Sales guy is adamant that this is not the case and they could just take off the 911 Carrera s bit and would be exactly same as factory model designation delete option. I am skeptical... Might have just drop the Carrera s bit and move 911 centrally...

Mine are ok, however it does sit in the garage most of the time smile

The delete option only removes the model designation. P O R S C H E stays put.

Looks lowered when viewed on the configurator on the website. Not exactly a definitive answer though, I know.

Its only stuck on with double sided tape. I suggest the text delete will be rather easy and not worth paying anything for!
