All I can say is what a great way to wake up each day. Check out the video at the bottom of the page as well

Logistically wouldn't be as simple as the video showed though, as the lift woud first have to go to your apartment and pick up the 'base' then bring it down before you could drive in. As such, if a few people arrive back at once it could take a while? Unless I've missed something? Wonder how long the whole turnaround process takes?
Lovely idea however

Surely the bases are generic? So it just has an empty base ready and deposits it at your apartment. If your car is out then there is just and empty space where your car used to be in your apartment. There are a couple of these parking garages like this around and I'm sure that's how they all work.R11ysf said:

So if there is a generic base waiting for you to drive into, but apartment B wants to leave in his car that is parked up in his apartmemt what happens then? Apartment B's car is already on a base?

Presumably there is a base for each parking place available. All the bases are stored in the living rooms, so the lift is empty. Or 1 base is stored in the lift, and if someone wants to leave from his apartment then the lift presumably would dump the base in the empty slot of another apartment and then come to him.I can't see any other way than that I've described above? Happy to be enlightened

All you need is a couple of spare bases near the lift and if each apartment isn't full then leave one space in each apartment also. Then when it brings your car back it can deposit the car in the empty space and take another empty. When your apartment is full it can grab another from the spare store.I can't see any other way than that I've described above? Happy to be enlightened

The bases are definitely generic, that's a certain. Have a look around this website and you'll see that some of the empty spaces have bases in and some of them don't, there are 3 short videos to watch if you are interested.

Let's take day 1 scenario, an empty block. 1st occupant arrives with his two cars. Where are all the bases? There have to be at least enough bases for every apartment parking space or someone will have been sold a pup
so if as you suggest there are a couple of extra spaces with two extra bases this doesn't solve anything as he has to have the two bases from his own apartment or else the 'extra' bases won't fit in. Now let's suggest there are two extra spaces with no additional bases. Whilst this will still work, it doesn't actually negate the waiting, as which two bases from which apartment will be in there waiting? If its the wrong apartment, it will make the delay a tad worse as he now has to wait for the base to come from the spare space and the base in his space to move to the spare space before he can start taking hs car up.
No, the only way it can function is to call the base from your apartment to take you up. A tad cumbersome but not something I'll really have to worry about
