Hi all, recently moved into a new place and the sink is truly awful. Have the landlords permission to change it, so all i need now is a new sink.
The existing one is about 980mm wide, and single bowl. Irritatingly, most sinks i've come accross are either 840mm, or 940mm, and anything larger than that has 1.5 or 2 bowls, which sadly isnt an option as the drainer goes above where the washing machine is.
I know i need a sink either the same size or larger, due to the existing cutout, but i can't find anything suitable thats in my price range (preferably sub £100), either that or its a truly suspicious website that i wouldnt feel good giving my card details to.
Current sink is plastic/composite, would prefer a stainless one but if composite/plastic is cheaper or more available in the size required, then it'll have to do.
Can anyone help?

Do you need a new tap as well? I will check our suppliers in the morning, what width is the sink?

Got a tap, but can always take it back to the shop i got it from if its easier to get one with.
bowl is 200mm deep, and front to back measures 495mm edge to edge.

will have a look, most are 500 front to back, its just the length on the single bowls that can be a problem, what is the size of cupboard under the bowl?
cheers Andrew

probably is 500m front to back, tbh. tricky to measure because its got quite a large lip around the edge.
base unit its in is just approx 570mm wide, and 500mm deep.
