If you could live near the sea where about would you choose?

East coast or west?
Sunrise or sunset?

Everyday you could see the sun rise or sun set.

Sunrise

Sunset

I'd live in Perth, Oz personally.

(Small islands don't count nor do the Nordic countries)

I live on the West Coast. There's something very special about a breathtaking sunset. Here's one from my room...just straight off the iPhone:

Where do I live? Wales.

I plan to retire to the West Coast of Wales, sleep in, in the mornings and sip wine at sunset.
On holidays given the choice I pick West Facing every time.

Sunset.

Who wants to get up in the dark to watch the sunrise?

I live next to the sea on the east coast, I do like seeing the sunrise. My house looks out over the sea.

Though to be honest I prefer it when there is a full moon as the reflection on the sea looks really cool.

Sunset - you can watch it with a glass of wine. It's generally frowned upon to do that with sunrise.

Go west-

young man

I've worked (in the past like!) during many sunrises

The light seems to struggle to force its way in

Sunsets however?

Wonderful

You have to get up early to see the sunrise, I'm aways up when the sun sets!!!!

I remember staying up all night to see the sunrise on the new millenium.

So that's where I've been going wrong.

I have it on good authority that Perth is a strange little town with very weird drinking laws. Definitely wouldn't be my first choice frown

Given the choice, I'd pick sunset smile

Sunset for me too. This one was at Carmel, CA about ten years ago.

Sunrise, it means we are around for another day hopefully, and without a sunrise there is no sunset.

Move to Hunstanton and you can see the sunset on the east coast.

Something special about a sunrise though it would have to be a special occasion to be up for one. I remember on a flight back from OZ and seeing the sunrise, that was quite special.

Sunrises are lovely and calm on mild, peaceful mornings with no cloud.

Definitely prefer watching a sunset with a beer in hand though.

Nope, given it was mid summer and gauging the accents around me at the time I would say about 25-30% were French, 50+% English and the remainder Welsh
