Hi
Someone that works within the hospital where I work has a Lancia Delta Integrale Evo 2.
I have known the car for 10 years as have seen it parked up.

This morning I noticed a for sale sign in the window. I called them and he has informed me how much he wants but I am struggling to find a valuation.

I have looked on here and e-bay and I know top notch examples go for a lot. This one needs tlc on the body but this is all I know until I can arrange a viewing.

I do not want to tell you yet how much he said he wants as I would like to know from Pistonheader's who know a little about this marque.

I realise that as it stands the new owner would probably need to put a few thousand into the car to make it very clean.

Cheers

Have you tried searching ebay history for completed auctions as well?

Hi
No, is that easily done?
Ideally I would like to find one that has been sold on e-bay with no-reserve.
This would be a great indicator.

Thanks

Impossible to value without knowing more of its current condition, history and what needs done to it.

If its a rusty example but mechanically good any good bodyshop used to classics can sort it.

If its been laid up and has unknown problems it will need to go to a specialist and could end up with a large bill.

The last Integrale I tried to buy was a scruffy looking but sound blue Evo model, at £7k, and prices seem to have gone up a lot since then.

Try going to your local newsagents/WHsmith and look in the back of some of the classic car mags, they usually have price guides for each car and the condition they are in.

You need to have a user name on ebay.

Then login, click advanced search, and then ensure you click:

Current Classic Cars magazine price-guide:

Rough: GBP 4500
Good: GBP 9000
Mint: GBP 14000
Dealer/Concours: GBP 16500

I think the above are a little pessimistic these days.

My opinion:

Rough: GBP 5000
Good: GBP 11000
Mint: GBP 19000
Dealer/Concours: GBP 22000

Thanks for all the info.
I had a look at the one's currently for sale and to be honest I think they have gone up in price a lot in recent years.
On e-bay specialist dealers are asking 30k+!!!

I have had a look at the car in question and I am going to have it!!

The sticking point at the moment is the numberplate. The ex-husband of the lady selling has requested the plate.
This would be such a shame as the plate reads Delta!

I will confirm an exact price with her over the next day or so once I know what is happening with the plate.
The car will need some body work, the wheels refurbished, general tidying and a full service.

Cheers

Post a picture up when you do. I think the values are affected a bit by the strength or weakness of the £, assuming it is LHD, when the pound drops the prices of UK ones look attractive to other EU buyers.

Will do.
I will put up pictures of the various stages; when I get it and after its mini restoration.

Ask the question at lanciasport.com/forum, you should get a well informed answer there. It's really the place to go for integrale info, they may even know more about that car, it's a small community really. If you decide not to buy that car Japan is always a good option, they generally get treated well and can be had for good money. A friend of mine has just (today) won an auction there for a nice Giallo Evo 2.

Do it. Growing up in Italy in the 90's the Integrale was the stuff of dreams. I'll have to have one myself.

They are still very quick by any standards and supreme on a twisty road.
