Lancia Delta Integrale Evo 2 Value
Discussion
Hi
Someone that works within the hospital where I work has a Lancia Delta Integrale Evo 2.
I have known the car for 10 years as have seen it parked up.
This morning I noticed a for sale sign in the window. I called them and he has informed me how much he wants but I am struggling to find a valuation.
I have looked on here and e-bay and I know top notch examples go for a lot. This one needs tlc on the body but this is all I know until I can arrange a viewing.
I do not want to tell you yet how much he said he wants as I would like to know from Pistonheader's who know a little about this marque.
I realise that as it stands the new owner would probably need to put a few thousand into the car to make it very clean.
Cheers

Impossible to value without knowing more of its current condition, history and what needs done to it.
If its a rusty example but mechanically good any good bodyshop used to classics can sort it.
If its been laid up and has unknown problems it will need to go to a specialist and could end up with a large bill.
The last Integrale I tried to buy was a scruffy looking but sound blue Evo model, at £7k, and prices seem to have gone up a lot since then.

Current Classic Cars magazine price-guide:
Rough: GBP 4500
Good: GBP 9000
Mint: GBP 14000
Dealer/Concours: GBP 16500
I think the above are a little pessimistic these days.
My opinion:
Rough: GBP 5000
Good: GBP 11000
Mint: GBP 19000
Dealer/Concours: GBP 22000
Thanks for all the info.Rough: GBP 4500

I had a look at the one's currently for sale and to be honest I think they have gone up in price a lot in recent years.
On e-bay specialist dealers are asking 30k+!!!
I have had a look at the car in question and I am going to have it!!
The sticking point at the moment is the numberplate. The ex-husband of the lady selling has requested the plate.
This would be such a shame as the plate reads Delta!
I will confirm an exact price with her over the next day or so once I know what is happening with the plate.
The car will need some body work, the wheels refurbished, general tidying and a full service.
Cheers

Post a picture up when you do. I think the values are affected a bit by the strength or weakness of the £, assuming it is LHD, when the pound drops the prices of UK ones look attractive to other EU buyers.Strawman said:

Will do.I will put up pictures of the various stages; when I get it and after its mini restoration.
Cheers
Ask the question at lanciasport.com/forum, you should get a well informed answer there. It's really the place to go for integrale info, they may even know more about that car, it's a small community really. If you decide not to buy that car Japan is always a good option, they generally get treated well and can be had for good money. A friend of mine has just (today) won an auction there for a nice Giallo Evo 2.
