Power Steering Conversion

I'm looking to have my 1996 Chimaera converted to power steering.
Options: The Racing Green electric system - cost £2,274 for the kit alone, or use an old/refurbished original TVR PAS system (not sure if that's possible or feasible?
Comments please?
Anyone done it?

Eventually I would prefer to move away to a better quality rack other then a TVR one, (dubious quality).

Even my manual one has play. These are now old so a suitable upgrade will be on the cards for many owners!

SSPPGG is well on the way with his, I think I need to pay him a visit, Steve...............................

maybe the Porsche (ZF) EPAS system will fit, they have it in the rack and so also low in the car

Thanks for the comments and suggestions. Whilst I do know which end of a spanner is north, I think some of the modded racks are beyond my ability.
Has anyone experience of the Racing Green conversion? I might have to consider selling a kidney, but it looks the business.
