The Philharmonic Dining Rooms is a fantastic pub, it's just a pity the food is not up to much. You could take them for a jar first there and then move on.

I used to go to school just round the corner, long time since I have had a pint in there, or Ye Olde Crack, if it's still Standing

They would probably get mugged or stabbed in London though.

Then you're in the wrong bit. That's the problem with the Wirral, there's no 'right bit' wink

I've had a few sherberts in Ye Crack - it's very popular with students.

I'd be looking at somewhere like San Carlo on Castle Street.

Panoramic 34 has improved somewhat of late but still, apart from the view, you are paying over the odds.

60 Hope Street? Sapporo? Granted, they're Liverpool but only through a little tunnel.

Bem Brasil for something a little different?

Wirral doesn't really have an awful lot to offer in my opinion. Having said that, my favourite restaurant at the moment is http://novarestaurant.co.uk/ in Heswall.

The chef is a genius.
