Was wondering if anyone can shed the light. My LP570 was recovered into Lambo last Friday because the Oil pressure gauge was dancing around for 10 mins or so before permanently lodging itself against the max pressure reading in the Red. Stranger still when I turned the engine off the gauge would read max pressure and would only drop to Zero once the Ignition was turned off. Oil and Water Temps were fine and car was driving sweetly but Lambo assistance didn't like it hence the car was recovered in which was doubly frustrating as I had Vmax event booked up for Saturday !. Dealer looked at the car Monday and rang to say they couldn't find any fault with the car so couldn't do anything but return it to me???! The car has been bulletproof up to now but I'm not the most technically minded and was wondering Anyone had this problem before? Anyone know what it could have been the problem?

On the face of it, it sounds like a sensor issue more than anything else.
The dancing around and the behaviour during/after ignition switch off etc suggests an electrical fault more than excessive oil pressure.
But then I am no Lambo dealer with a full workshop and diagnostic tools.....
