Little chav c&£ts and a green laser!

I was just in sunny Newport and I drove past a bunch of kids/lads flashing a green laser at the cars coming the other way!

I use red laser pointers in work but this green one was BRIGHT.


I did feel like helping natural selection out but I resisted.

I'm a motorist, they were flashing it at motorists.

prosecuted for shining them at pilots coming in to land. police helicopter called out and he shone it at that pilot too. the stupidity is high on this one

The green ones seem much more powerful then the red ones and can travel much further. I had one and it used to bounce of low clouds without a problem. I have to be careful though as I am near a flight path.

Can you believe I had something similar a couple of years back, only it wasn't a group of chavs, it was a kid of about 10, doing it outside his house, with his parents stood nearby. He shone it in my eyes, and fking SHAT himself when I stopped and got out! haha! He didn't see that coming for some reason! Anyway, I asked him what the hell he thought he was doing shining that laser in my eyes - which then alerted his parents, previously unaware as looking the other way, as to what he was doing. I was assured they'd deal with it, so I left it there.

If the people doing it to you were older then police involvement would be the right way. I actually think that if I'd not had the assurance from this kids parents then I would have considered calling them over what happened to me. (That would come into play ONLY if the parents took an irresponsible attitude.)
