Barclays custom debit card

Just seen an advert for this. Apparently, you can have any photo you want put on your debit card, for free.

Will this mean that every PHer and his dog suddenly gets a car / marque badge on their cards? If this does happen, will it be cool, or just a bit naff? Part of me wants a LeMans charriot pic on my card, the other half is worried it might be just a tad too 80's...

Has come out well on the card, though I had to jiggle it around a little so the chip didn't obscure the Landie

Y'know, I'm willing to bet that if someone set up a facebook group or website to 'show off your card', it would be a great way of harvesting card details from idiots.

I've had this design for years with RBS. It was part of their account for 13-18 year olds, then when I upgraded to a student account, I thought I'd just get a standard card but they just carried the design over without asking.

You could put your mug shot on there with a bit of text asking the cashier to check the person using the card is the person pictured. Wouldn't work so well now with chip and pin machines though. Tits it is (shame can't do a gif - think of the possibilities!)
