I don't suppose you saw the VIN number of the car number?

Are those bonnet vents painted body coloured..? Also no Virage aluminium seat controls, shame as that's a nice touch. Great looking car, haven't seen it in such a staid colour before. The lairiness of a convertible is somewhat balanced by the muted colour - I like the effect

The lairiness of a convertible is somewhat balanced by the muted colour - I like the effect Well you may like mine then as that's the colour I've gone for ! You can't see the amazing metallic fleck of Ceramic grey in those pics though. I suspect the bonnet vents are an optical illusion I've gone for all silver wheels as a special request whilst the one in the pic has a graphite two tone effect - both are from V12V Coupe but standard on V12VR is black and Diamond Turned, with no officially available option, which shows just how unrepresentative these early cars are. Really is a bit potty - the red & white one in the review is in a scheme so unusual that the factory won't price it unless you make a request for a feasibility study and the two cars doing the rounds in the UK & Europe respectively have options on that aren't officially available ! The plaque is a standard V12 Vantage plaque unlike the numbered plaques that will appear on the production models, so whilst I agree on the seat controls, these early non-production spec (cosmetically) V12VRs are not necessarily a good indicator - by the time it is in production, who knows whether they will be making it onto Vantages ? I really wanted a light interior (not carpet though) which I thought would look great but was worried it wouldn't stand up to heavy use, particularly being a drop top, hence going for lords red interior

yeti said: Are those bonnet vents painted body coloured..? Nope, they were carbon (like on most V12 cars). Inside you also see the carbon trim (around the gearbox, etc), and with the light interior, it looked very nice in the flesh imho, little "underdog" color combo, you don't see right away it is something very powerfull, and I liked that. The Ceramic Grey metallic indeed has a nice metallic touch, I assume outside in the sunlight it will look even better.

These pics definitely don't do ceramic grey justice, it looks superb in the flesh and stunning in sunlight. Will try to dig out a picture I have and post.
