So you got the Rover 200 and Jaguar XJ220


And I always thought the Discovery and Sherpa van had the same lights





The Metrocab and Escort estate are very similar to

Wrong on the Discovery and Sherpa: The Maestro van shared its tail lights with the Discovery.

To add to the thread: The Lotus Esprit and the Rover SD1

I'm pretty sure these Passat lights were turned and used by another manufacturer. Was supposed to be for the "I" in the cluster.

Aston Martin DB7 shares its rear lights with a Mazda (323?)

And the facelift Diablo used Nissan 300zx headlights.

I thought they were from the TVR Tuscan race cars? Although TVR may well have nicked them off a Bova coach.

Even Lotus used them twice - just turned upside down for the Excel



And the earliest Esprits used rear lights from Fiat X1/9

I think it was the Chimaera that used the Fiesta Mk3 lights...

Fiesta lights were used on the Chimaera cav lights on the Griffith
Indicators on the front are military sourced.

^This, but I think the early (200 series) Discovery did use Sherpa van headlights. Not sure it it's true, but I did hear that the angle of the angled corners on the back of the first discovery was set by the fact they'd decided to reuse the Maestro van tail lights.
