Inspection in Salisbury

Can anyone advise me who does TVR inspections in or around Salisbury, or is within travelling distance.

Theres a car there I'm interested in but its a 4 hour drive, so want to make sure its worth going to see before I make any arrangements, also it would be useful to have a report on it for haggling purposes

Probably best to research him first of all - remember you'll only hear good things on the forums due to the no shaming rule....

I'd suggest seeing if the guys I use to work on my car - Lloyd Specialist Developments - would be up for giving it a look over for you ... they've been really thorough with mine and you could get the seller to take it up there.

So who's selling a Tiv in Salisbury - I haven't seen much in the way of fellow Tivvers here!

Ive seen 3x tivs local ish to me ( Andover ), but only one griff 500 in salisbury.

I used him to look at a Chimaera which I saw on ebay. I went to see it and needed to know if it was any good and Rob was able to go and see it the next day to confirm if it was worth doing the deal.

He gave a good honest opinion of the car and would have sent me a detailed report if I had required it.

At the end of the day it was a few hundred quid well spent and avoided the pain of buying a money pit.

I'm not far from Salisbury or Andover too.

I used a report Rob did on my last purchase, but it's still cost £10K+ and not finished yet to put right. He can't inspect what he can't see so things can still go wrong!

Just checking in as another 4 TVRs near Andover, 1 x Cerb and 1 x Chimaera are good mates and I have both Cerb and Chimaera.

What car are you looking at? l have a 4 poster in the garage. If seller is that keen to sell and you want to take a look underneath happy for you to arrange to meet at my place 20/25 mins from Salisbury.

There's a cerb near me in Andover, plus I see a couple of Chim's about - plus mine of course...seems like we have a few of us in town, must be worth a meet??

Why not HH. I can be found out towards Tangley from Andover.

Mind you I don't have a working one at the moment. Need to do the clutch on the Cerb and stick a twin turbo motor in the Chim. Have a few weeks work ahead
