Mclaren 12C Decibel Help Please

Anyone know how loud 12c with standard exhaust is please ? I have a chance to take one to the Goodwood track and I believe the stationary 3/4 throttle limit is 98db .

Bruce's std car was 104 I think when tested at Goodwood. They did let him out but that may have been because it was a charity rides day

If you have the optional sports exhaust then it will fail a 105dB day at good wood (as mine did) but they did let me out but I had to take it easy as to not set off the drive by noise meters.

I understand a non-sports exhaust car will be better but even that I doubt would pass a 98dB day at goodwood who seem stricter than most circuits (except maybe Bedford!)

I'm also on a charity day next week at goodwood which is 98dB (didn't realise until a few weeks ago as it was booked for me by a friend) and I'm stuck with what car to take along... Prob end up taking a caterham!

Can't say I really understand the limits at Goodwood since I've driven there in my 599GTO

Goodwood is laughable IMO. IIRC, FOC had a round there last year or the year before and half the cars didn't get on the circuit. I'm also very sceptical of the way they noise test at Goodwood.
