Clarence Boddicker Award

For those interested in such things i was tasked with getting the much valued "go car not show car award" to this years winner Andrew Winfield .
For those who don't know Clarence Boddiger was the posting name used by Ken Appleton , an enthusiastic S cluber who lost his battle with cancer a couple of years ago . Its a very fitting tribute to have an award in Kens honour to accompany the best of each model of S series.
Ken was keen to keep his cars on the road rather than work on the shine and his old car can be seen on the TVR general stuff forum mud plugging for fun .
Andrew left Thoresby Hall before prize giving to make the long journey home to the far east of England and I'm sure will be at next years meet to pass the trophy on .

Thanks for the recognition Dale, and I appreciate the honor of the award in Kens spirit of using cars. There are some smashing cars about, and some like mine that are not so smart but still loved. To me thats what my S is about, a classic British icon, loud and proud - Excellent to drive, and most of all a great bunch of like-minded individuals - Cheers guys
