BBC2 'Racing Legends' (Moss, McRae and Stewart) new series
Discussion
'Heads up' for three new programs:
27/12/2012 2000hrs
Sir Stirling Moss (profiled by Patrick Stewart)
28/12/2012 2000hrs
Colin McRae (profiled by Sir Chris Hoy)
29/12/2012
Sir Jackie Stewart (profiled by James Martin)
I cannot see a listing for the Jackie Stewart program in the Radio Times (should be 1915-2015hrs) so it maybe re-scheduled to a later date?

How come Jimmy Clark always gets missed on these kind of shows? He is arguable better than the 3.
Clark was the subject of a previous programme.http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00jw9cw
And yes, Clark was The Man.

Found it:

It is the sister car to Colin's Prodrive Impreza.

Is that as in James Martin the chef that did that utterly horrific documentary on the Mille Miglia?
Came across as a complete baby if I recall correctly.
Knob. Not baby.Came across as a complete baby if I recall correctly.
Chef James Martin joins Jackie Stewart on a road trip through the Alps in a classic supercar to retrace the life and career of the three-time Formula One world champion. Self-confessed motor-racing fanatic James then discovers how Jackie's relentless safety crusade lives on in the vehicles of today and faces the challenge of driving one of his Grand Prix-winning cars around the Monza circuit in northern Italy.
Patrick Stewart/Sir Stirling Moss
Hollywood actor Sir Patrick Stewart tells the enthralling story of Sir Stirling Moss's glittering race career. The pair travel to Florence in a classic Gull Wing Mercedes to retrace the route of Italy's most famous road race, the Mille Miglia, and discuss how Stirling's near-fatal crash may have been the best thing that ever happened to him. Yet how will Sir Patrick cope with the raw power of the era when he drives a 1957 Formula 1 car at the scene of Stirling's historic British Grand Prix victory?

Goodness. If they're doing some motorsport documentaries, couldn't they find OTHER subjects than Jackie Stewart and Stirling Moss?? Blimey, the number of programmes / videos that have been produced on those people..........there ARE other people in motorsport.
Tony Pond and Richard Burns spring to mind.RESSE said:

The BBC list episode 1 (Stirling Moss) 27th Dec, episode 2 (Jackie Stewart) 28th Dec, and no mention of episode 3.
Could be a BBC Scotland variation, but I can’t imagine why the BBC would skip the Colin McRae episode up here?
Another motoring-related programme, although I suspect this may be the antithesis of the Moss programme...

Is it because they dare to mention he crashed an awful lot?The BBC list episode 1 (Stirling Moss) 27th Dec, episode 2 (Jackie Stewart) 28th Dec, and no mention of episode 3.
