Following on from a thread highjack in general gassing, it appears that there are loads of PH'ers in Orpington and the surrounding areas.

Would anyone be interested in meeting up at the Grasshopper Inn, Westerham?

Cheers,

Iain

Edited to change the date to Saturday 9th October due to demand (see below)

Yeh, large smooth carpark with no speedbumps. It's regularly used by the MR2 Drivers Club and a few others I think.

I'll bring the missus so that's four.

Any more?

Would be very interested but it clashes with the GT & Tuscan racing at Brands Hatch that weekend.

Put it back a weekend & I can get you a car park full of TVR's if you want.

Sorry to be a pain.

OK, looks like the popular consensus is to move the date back to Saturday 9th October.

We'll make that a fixed date now and see who else is available. I'll edit the date at the top of the thread so not to confuse anyone reading it for the first time.

Cheers,

Iain

PS: Should have the XJR back by then - wahey

I'm an ex-Bromleyite, but am coincidentally staying at my Dad's in Sevenoaks on the Friday night, so may well pop along.

What time are we meeting - lunch or evening?

Will be meeting at lunchtime. Here is a link to the website for the Grasshopper Inn for anyone who doesn't know where it is or fancies a bite to eat. I've only eaten there once, but it was

NST, what's more important, getting married or meeting a load of PH'ers? Get your priorities right

Have made a note in the diary and will try to make it along, as only just down the road in Sevenoaks.

Chas mate, you home that weekend?

No, 'fraid not... In fact my Esprit's in for a service that day in Germany...
I've been trying to get along to one of the Kent TVRCC meets at the Rose & Crown, but my visits home haven't tied in yet... Not that I've been back in Blighty for nearly 3 months!
If it becomes a regular thing, I'll try to pop along one day!

Just got back from a weekend away and see loads of replies to the post. Looks like we should have a great turnout.

Just hope the weather is good...
