Should I or shouldn't I?
is this the 'cancelled order' referred to a few days ago (I'm not doubting that btw)
there's nothing missing on the spec and it looks great
but the B&O sound (which I'm not a fan of in vantage roadsters) takes the price with those options up to c. £165/6k OTR plus whatever flame orante costs
I assume v little if any discount off list ?
I could only justify the cost to change if it was the exact spec I wanted, but I suppose you could even justify a repaint on such a rare car if that's an issue.
It's not about whether it looks good (which it does) or if you like it, but more whether you could live with yourself with this kind of car for this kind of money if it wasn't the exact colour combo you would have chosen. Unless there was some discount of course !

btw the thread at 12'0 on the steering wheel looks a different colour to the other thread ?
the 12'0 stitching is red and not the same as the Kestral Tan seat stitching - not sure why. It is the same car as in the other thread.it's the same colour as the demo car isn't it ? I assume that's just a coincidence ?
When it's not our money (and I'll go out on a limb and suggest you're looking at a £60-70k cost-to-change) it's very easy for us to say yes / of course / why wouldn't you etc.
But given how you've spec'd your "S" (and how much thought you put into the spec), plus the work you have planned for it with BR, I'm not so sure.
Residuals on a V12VR is obviously always going to be a no-brainer (albeit in a slightly marmite colour - I love it, BTW) compared to a modified V8VSR, but you're not going to lose £60-70k on your current car for a looooong time! Depending on how much the BR work is going to be, of course.
And as a very vocal proponent of ASM2, do you want to go back to a manual?
Tough one. If it's close enough to how you would have spec'd it (and you can live with orange stitching on the seats and red stitching on the steering wheel (#firstworldproblems)
) and you can justify the cashola, then it's gotta be done. Chances like this don't come up too often.

Looks great. Buy it and change the rear lights for standard clear ones instead of those awful Halfords lookalike carbon ones, paint the bonnet vents and have the wheels powdercoated in silver. Perfect
Only thing I think is odd is that they chose Kestrel Tan stitching over Madagascar Orange

Isn't that so you know where top dead center is as you uncross your arms from yet another full opp lock power slide, rally style.Didn't notice LPG conversion on the spec list, was this a accidental omission?
