Not sure where to post for advicee on a new car?

I've looked at this website most days for years but never joined but, now I'm looking for a car for the wife and it's way out of my area of expertise.

She has a blue 2004 Citroen C2 1.4 diesel (that i randomly but some little white alloys on) and does around 200 miles per week. She needs something newer but considering 'economic' has never been something I've looked for in a car, I'm stuck.

We can only spend around 6k max and the smaller the better (she's a nurse, have you seen hospital car parks).

I've been trawling the usual sites but I don't want her looking like a doyle. I wanted the little 'go kart' types but because of the miles, the tiny engines might not cut it.

Any advice would be much appreciated and I'm sorry if I've posted in the wrong place! Cheers
