Does anyone know a scrap yard / 'recycler' who will collect a car chassis / shell and take it away, preferably for free - well, they are getting about ~1Te of scrap metal..? Cash my way would be handy, but not holding out any hope.

I'll be stripping off the wheels and some suspension parts, so they need a crane probably to get rid of it. Found someone a couple of years ago who did this, but can't remember who it was!

Or free MR2 shell (with engine / gearbox) if anyones interested?

Persley/overton are only ones I can think of!

Look in scot ads, they are normally a few sketchy folk with flatbeds and winches that will offer to pick up scrap vehicles.

Persley or Overton as already suggested. Panda Rosa metals maybe worth a shout.

All have flatbeds with hi-abs.

Persley will collect but last time I used them they said they only pay for complete cars.
