Can you give us a destination postcode for the SatNav, i'd like to know the route, but more importantly the distance smile

On some maps and Satnav's the postcode drops you onto the A6, a stones throw away from the actual venue, however due to the junction restrictions this can have you going further up the road for a u-turn and round one or two Round-a-bouts to get back on track.

If you can enter the postcode then if it does not match the images above, manually adjust to ensure a hassle free arrival.

Phil (Mako) Cool, look forward to seeing you again, we had another V12V last month, you already know the car and owner.

I'll also try to get the Morning Frost V12V out there, but no promises there.

Bumping this one to the top again like a cheeky Northerner.

Depending on how many and which models attend, I'd like some opinions on the parking format.

Should we just let Aston's park randomly as they arrive to mix it up or should we arrange them by age or model type?

Mixing it up I think is good for those in the know whereas arranging them would help general public understand the evolution more easily (perhaps)

Thoughts? Ideas?

Want to Attend? ;-)

I'll go down as a maybe. May be doing something else that weekend (either Le Mans MotoGP or a trackday).

Being as you're local George, you can always pop along to any of our Monthly meets (Second-to-Last Sunday)at the same venue.

We often get at least 2 Aston's attending.

Frequent Aston's include:

2 x GT's
1 x 7 Vantage
2 x V12V's
1 x Vanq S
various V8V's

(not always at the same time but it does happen)

May 19th is a concerted effort to get as many Aston's as possible for the gathering.

Bump!!!

Plenty of parking spaces left to be filled with Aston's.

Would attendee's be looking at parking up for the duration or would you want to go for a short local drive as well?

I've been in contact with AM HQ at Gaydon about this event and they have given me some further pointers and contacts to follow up.

I hope to be able to have a small stand setup with some AM info on there. My personal stuff will be viewing only as it's all part of my AM collection, however I will ask AM if they can send down any items for hand out.

Brief recap on details:

Sunday 19th May 2013
Phantom Winger, Fulwood, Preston, Lancs, PR3 5JE
9:00am venue opens and serves hot food and beverages etc.

Will try to attend as usual. Phil, are Aston themselves bringing a car? Would love to see some of the older stuff, or perhaps even a One-77cloud9

I went to this event this morn which was very well attended.
It was a pity all the Astons were dispersed around the car park as there must've been at least 10 there and would've looked good parked all together! What happened?

I was only there for about half an hour as I had to go get a new tyre on the Daytona, but I had to park a bit away from the rest of the cars. The Amethyst red V12V was stunning, certainly up there with my favourite colours. The orange Sag and T350 were very nice too.

The chrome 911 turbo much less nice... hurl
