Right I need to be able to cook two simple dishes that are easily made without too much hassle. By this I mean I'm going on a boat and will take my turn in cooking, I can cook (just) but need a couple of dishes which can be prepared/cooked in a small kitchen, couple of pan or oven.
One would have to be a fish recipe as will hopefully be catching fish on the way.
Spicy/curry type would be good.

Any pointers ?

Name a dish and I can go and find the recipe.

Depends what you're catching.

For eg. mackerel, I'd gut and scale the fish, slash the sides, marinate it in sesame oil, garlic, soy, chilli and ginger, then grill whole. Either open all the windows or do it outside.

For eg. sea bass, I'd simply enjoy the flavour of a freshly caught fish. Fillet, flour, and fry in butter as is, with a squeeze of lemon over.

Produce a couple of pre-bought kippers from a cool box. Cook them and let everyone eat them. They will think you are a genius for catching and smoking your own herring in such a short space of time.

Simple is best if you are catching it fresh. Simply fried fillets of what you catch in a buttered brown bap with lemon and parsley and a home made tartar sauce. Or cerviche. Or some sashimi with appropriate accompliments

If white sea fish like cod, haddock etc then dip fillets in a beaten egg, then in special magic breadcrumb mix, shallow fry in olive oil, serve with a wedge of lemon, simple and delicious!

Sounds great too - don't normally have frying pans on a boat though frown

What are you sailing in, a canoe?!

Your post was a bit light on info to say the least!

Sashimi.

Catch fish. Cut up and eat raw with soy and wasabi. Beautiful.

If that seems too much then cerviche.
