I'm guessing this is a brand spanker right??? on that basis no but I was very near buying one for the missus however both of us prefered the pug 3008. The standard compass is still a little plastic'y and the finish wasnt as nice as the pug we opted for however I did think it wasnt a bad motor for the money and I think you'd have to opt high in the spec to get a decent car. Looks wise its ok but I felt the cheap and nasty trim let it down

.....and coming from a bmw 1 series the difference will notice. When ever I've driven a newish BMW they feel very tight and refined(ish) the compass is far from that so be warned

Car history recently includes a BMW530D, A Jeep Cheroke 2.7 petrol and the 118M.

Female driver, two smallish kids, no prams or dogs, bit fed up with the 118. The ride is really hard, dont like the seats, dont like manual, and just fancy a change.

I loved my cherokee and cant afford a new one but the Compass look amazing value for money. Was looking at a limited with all the bells and whistles on.

No you won't. wink

That's my two penn'orth of the chances of anyone being able to stomach the way Jeep product drives compared with a BMW.

No, really, im desperate to get out of the 118. I cant bear it. Much prefered my 530D but hubby wont get me another as it was an old one and costing too much money to be repaired.

In that case why not look at soemthing from the E46 3-series range? Used prices right now make them an absolute steal with good parts availability and plenty of specialists who know how to look after them. Saloon, coupe, estate, convertible.

cry

I wanted to like it Sooo much!

Took the petrol out first and it was very dull. Then took a diesel, much better to drive but still lacking.
Cabin noise wasn't a bother for me, I have a five and six year old. They will drown everything out. It's spacious, comfy, the interior wasn't that bad and its such a pretty car.

On the way back I tried a Kia sportage. Pleasantly surprised actually, tried the 2l diesel and it was a nice drive. More plasticky than the compass though and not as pretty.
