Yeah, skip the crappy lightweight, forged and correct Sports Pack wheels.

Those D2s look awful on that Vantage. Only in my opinion, naturally smile

Having come from a maserati granturismo S, the OEM wheels available for that car were really nice.

The Aston OEM available options (at least for my V8 vantage) seem poor in comparison, hence my new search for

good aftermarket wheels. Lots of companies like BBS seems to have very good reviews regarding quality, use of lightweight materials etc

Also many companies that make aftermarket alloys also manufacture OEM ones for prestige brands.

Hence my reluctance to accept, "look, all aftermarket alloys are crappy, stick to sportpack, aston official etc etc".

Sure, some of these alloys look a little flash, vulgar etc but c'mon guys we bought an Aston. We obviously care about looks,
otherwise we would have all bought M3's.

Anyway back to googling, "V8 vantage alloys". wink

Interesting one this.

I purchased the sports pack which included the sportpack wheels, made in england by the same company that supplies aftermarket wheels for halfords and the like- quality was poos for the price, had two exchanged because the lacquer was spidering after afew months.

Dont like the one in the the picture though!

thanks Jockman.

To be honest I havent come across anything that makes me go, "WOW", so the search goes on!

Also those D2s would probably look much nicer if they were in a darker silver/grey colour.

Yeti and Whoami are seriously clever guys who tend to think through their answers, for the most part, but they are not you.

It would really be boring if we were all the same.

Btw, I am blue and 4'6" tall, with two left feet yes

Don't mind the looks personally but it's not exactly tuned either is it as the description suggests. All show and no go?

Scot, I’ve often cut and pasted a wheel picture, to a photo of my own car.

You’ll soon know if you like them. Ignore the aftermarket wheel haters.

Haters gonna hate yes

Lol. Not many fans then.

Often when i watch US movies, i see many such blingy alloys and always think, wow, why dont we have them here!!

Anyway, each to there own. Cant be an age thing. Im 33 and im sure others are similar or even younger. Maybe just a chav thing then. wink

Scot - one thing about bespoking - when you put your choice on a public forum you may get answers you don't like.

When Yeti posted up his DBS bonnet on his DB9....the reception was lukewarm.

When Lunablack posted up views on his tinted glass.... the reception was lukewarm.

When George posted up the mould on his roof.....people thought he was a funguy.

Your money....your car... your choice wink
