Decided I'd do something a little different, so I went and did this.

Future plans include matte brown plastidip, a rover P4 steering wheel, leather bucket seats and some tartan for the interior. Student finance however has not yet allowed this.

Whatcha think?

To me it looks broken, but then the word 'stanced' puts shivers down my spine!

Not usually a fan of stanced cars (or 45s for that matter), but I think this is quite good! There's a bit of a juxtaposition between the stately-ness of the Rover with the chrome bump strips, and the black steelies and stickers.

Thumbs up from me! clap

if you darkened/blackened the chrome bits, would flow better.

It makes quite a boring car interesting. Why not. I like it.

It would probably look good with one of those rusty paint jobs on a few panels.

That just looks lowered to me. The stanced examples I've seen has the wheels leaning in with camber. Unless lowered is now just referred to as stanced?

National Trust sticker and box of Kleenex on the rear parcel shelf for full irony.

Not exactly, there are a few websites which will explain to you the different kinds of stancing, the topic doesn't work on PH so it's better not to ask! smile

nono

Don't ruin it.

Keep it immaculate & useable. Always nice to break stereotypes.

Thanks for the feedback chaps. An AA badge is a good idea haha

Camber wise, it's running just enough to sit nicely without looking excessively collapsed. Not even running adjusters at the front, only natural camber from the double wishbones. I know it's not to everyone's liking but when you're 19 and you drive something more appropriate for your grandad, you have to try tongue out

This is not the final former, work in progress. Making it as old man is as possible for the comedy /novelty factor

It needs to be "pensioner" Beige plasti dip so it looks like the lacquer fell off, liking the tartan and the AA badges though!

It isn't what I'd go for but because it's different and because of your reason above, I like it...just doing what you can with what you've got.

I like it a lot actually, injects a little bit of life into it!

Are those WeatherTech side window deflectors? If so how do you rate them?
