What a difference !

After 5hrs of pain, there is a gain. The steering bush up-grade is the dogs danglies ! Wow it feels like I have power steering now ! Totally recommend it if you haven't done this mod.

Was just going to say the same. Went out for a quick blast for the first time and the difference is incredible. No more rattles and shakes and like Mark said it feels like power steering (arms like Arnie no more needed). Anybody who has'nt done this yet you dont know what your missing it even gives you more confidence in the corners!!

I can't live with my heavy steering much longer and the steering bush upgrade seems a little cheaper than retro fitting power steering anyone got the RS number for the bearing kit required for the upgrade?

Hi all, just done this upgrade and got to admit steering is much improved more positive feel and although there wasnt much play in the wheel before it rattled like a good un but not now. I'm a very happy bunny . Was dreading it expecting all sorts of probs but went easy as pie -under 2 hrs start to finish. NO I do not want to do anyone else's (but I will help)
also got my bearing on ebay from Bolton bearings £5:95 Super quality and cheaper than RS
