The thing is though Harvey you know your apples when it comes to this sort of thing. The subtle nuances in better line ups etc. is something you'd appreciate. For most of us though, we don't give a st, we pay to see the race and just see these media teams as another former racer in stupid shirt talking garbage. We're being told what we want and we're being told we're paying more for it.

Case in point, if I ever meet to David Coulthard, regardless of the discussion, I'm going to interrupt him every 10 minutes to state that that that F1 tyres "drop off". I will also interject at any momentary pause in conversation, to point out the "visible marbling at the sides of the track" and tell him how "slippy" it is. This is before I speak over him to discuss Lewis Hamilton.

Interesting update. What do we think the team will be?

At a minimum, they will probably have:

Anchor
Ex-racer Pundit
Lead commentator(s)
Commentator
Technical adviser
Pit commentator

All I can say to that really is '+1'.

The additional 'around the races' stuff that Sky do with F1 is largely ste. The pre-show is FAR too long and the post-race stuff far too short. Most of the 'news' stuff you can get on websites and F1 Racing has much more interesting features. Also, aside from Brundle and, to a lesser extent, Crofty, the presenters are just c*nts with microphones.

The only thing that might save BT Sport is them hiring the Eurosport guys. Even then I still won't pay for it.

I wouldn't say that I know my apples any more than any other die hard racing fan, I just happen to have a sweet day job. I can't watch the BBC coverage, can't stand Parrish and Cox. Spalding manages to take the most exciting sport on the planet and turn it into a nuts and bolts yawn fest and Burnicle seems to miss stacks of whats going on. That's why I think this could be a great time to pick the best guys around and make a new team. The bottom line for me is that I like MotoGP enough to not mind paying (or switching my broadband supplier) in order to watch it in 2014. If BT Sport pick all the blokes I don't like, I'll still watch it, I'll just end up shouting at the telly a bit more. If BT Sport run a mid week MotoGP chat show, with racers and techy features on the bikes, I'll watch that too.

It would of been better if bt got bsb as well, at least it would all been on the same channel rather than all over the place.

AS much as I love Moto GP, there is no way I would pay BT a single penny after dealing with them in the past. What a way to kill GP off in the uk, I would sooner suck piss out of the gusset of a tramps underpants than subscribe to B fking T

Yup, I much like the Burnicle-Whitham team's patter and commentary up until the occasions when Jack becomes too excited. Then, as you point out, he misses a lot of the action, starts over-emphasising every 4-5th word (I find this grating once I start to notice it), and 'filling' too much, repeating the say phrases each time. Consequently, I am immune to knowing which county each rider comes from, even though he repeats it almost every time they are referenced.

While exact scheduling plans are yet to be decided, BT confirmed it plans at the least to show every session live via its new BT Sport App.
Eh? So they "might" show all the sessions on it's app? But not everything on the TV?

I love the sport but fked if I'm paying any more than I do, the only reason I have sky at the moment is for eurosport covering MotoGP so I'll kick fking Sky into touch at end of season too!
wkERS!
The only reason you pay is to watch it....but in the future you're not paying to watch it....

Could try Eurosport France - http://en.kingofsat.net/channelhistory.php?ch=102 may not work if subscription services for Eurosport don't cover all Eurosport channels.

Other broadcasters.

Looks like I'll get it for free being a broadband customer, says it'll be HD free for a year, can't find the cost after that though.
