What's the story then, they have a white car two years older less miles for 7k more?,

Pricing is all over the place on these.

I guess it depends what they are buying them for, or what the Sale-or-Return owners want for their cars. Suspect clinkard cars are SOR and thus the owner of the white one being greedy compared to owner of black one.

Official dealer pricing all over the place to. Tried to do a deal on one a few weeks ago, then sunk my money into a new house instead. Will sit this summer out and get into one next year for 120k thanks smile

That's a pretty incredible spec for the money.. Especially as 2012 car.. Other ones priced at that level are privately owned and 2010 cars..

I also tend to think that miles with Ferrari warranty are becoming less relevant. Surely the possibility of adding the warranty down the road will be much more important.. So younger car shd be worth more than older low miles?? Looking at this one you will have an extra 2 yrs of power normal to be able to put on compared to a early one.. It's already obvious with f430 with early ones out of the warranty extension possibility.

On a related topic, Graypaul have a September '12 FF on special offer for 169k.
That must be some depreciation.

Haven't taken the plunge yet then?
I was looking yesterday, but I'm just not sure I'm ready to give up the Cali yet.

I'm a big Ferrari fan but these cars simply aren't worth the prices being asked from new and hence the depreciation. So far as the FF goes, the expression "a face that only a mother could love" comes to mind.

+1

A Ferrari is supposed to be a thing of beauty. I don't really understand the FF as it looks like a chunky estate car to me? One of the most expensive ugly cars made right now, and I didn't feel that way until I saw one in the flesh! They are even worse.

I think the 458 will sell like hit cakes around the 130k level but it's the spider I'm waiting for.

Really sorry to say this and I know I'll get flamed....to me it looks like a BMW 1 series either with a body kit or a couple of generations on from now.

The idea of car dealers is to make as much money as possible on a sale, why would you price a car around £20k cheaper than average. I would think main dealers will give more than the asking price to buy in for stock.

As mentioned earlier surely at that price main dealers would snap it up, if nothing else to protect residuals.
Or as you say "priced to sell"
I mean you wouldn't baulk at that if it were on at 175+ at main dealer!.
The cynic in me says there more to this than meets the eye!.
