Anyone used Lancaster Reading AM before???

Hi
Always had very professional service from the sales team. Had a bit of work done through the service department. The biggest issue with service was actually getting them to call me back. Had a problem with a vantage I bought from them in 2012 and the sales manager took personal control of the situation and gave excellent service but he has since moved to HWM
Good luck with whatever it is

Count yourself lucky mate. I had to spend 4 days on a car they butchered.
Funny you say that mate. They didn't replace the oil filter on the service despite the sheet showing a tick that they did and a purchase of a new one, and most seriously on their inspection of the tyres (also ticked and "inspected") the missed the fact the tyre had a very bad puncture repair carried out on it (way previous to my owning the car), that I have been informed is only suitable for plant machinery and should not be driven on at more than 15 (FIFTEEN) mph until a replacement is fitted.
This was last OCTOBER. I have since done 8k miles some of which have been very fast speeds.
Their "inspection" missed it completely but was picked up on the recent MOT and AMR who are clutch changing my car.
Lucky is precisely what I have been.
A potential fatality is what they missed on their "inspection".

Just a quick enquiry as to the level of service you received if you don't mind please.
I have a very serious issue to take up with them tomorrow.
Ta!
I wouldnt use them again even if it was the last Aston garage in the world.... They are a bunch of incompitent splitters......... If that helps......I have a very serious issue to take up with them tomorrow.
Ta!
Bought my green meanie from them at a very good price.
1) When I turned up, they had added 5k onto the price (knocked it back off)
2) They 'forgot' to service it (they came and collected it and did it afterwards)
3) I told them the door reflector was wobbly. They charged me half an hour to fix the rear reflector which wasn't wobbly and didn't actually touch the door one
4) They call and mail me constantly to tell me it's been 12 months since my last service and why won't I go back
Would not use again, no.

Never again....better not ay anything before I get angry....I had forgotten about that joyless time but it appears I was not alone...
FYI Steve...part of my issue was about them repairing a puncture, which they caused...without asking.....on a 185 mph car....good god...
Got it fixed in the end, but never again...

I was called at one point to say they were looking at changing various things so the issues wouldn't happen again, so it's possible they have improved since.
The problem is there is so much choice both in dealers and independents... why would anyone give a place with previously poor service a second chance?
